Mud is a liquid or semi liquid mixture of soil and water. After some time, if there is no additional exposure to water or liquid, the mud will solidify and form a layer on the cloth or material on which it is deposited.
Though most mud is harmless, it can dirty the clothes used.
Mud can also be used to refer to multi user dungeon, a multi user computer game.
